Vintage Balinese chess pieces and board. Fine examples of art and craftmanship which illustrates the reputation of the Indonesian island of Bali in woodcarving. The black pieces are made of Makassar ebony, the whites of teak. The height of the king is 10 cm. The solid, heavvy (2 kg) board is also made of Makassar ebony and teak. Pieces and board are in good condition, although with a few signs of age. The board is 38 cm square.
