Model History:

The Longines Présence collection has long represented the brand’s more traditional and understated side, combining classic proportions with a refined, dress-oriented design language. This reference is a compact stainless steel quartz model with slender straight lugs, a polished round case and an elegant Roman-numeral dial layout.

The dial is particularly distinctive, combining a silver outer ring with applied Roman numerals and a finely textured central disc finished with concentric circular guilloché-style lines. Together with the framed date aperture at 3 o’clock, it gives the watch a formal and timeless appearance while retaining the practical convenience of a quartz movement.

Condition:

The watch is in nice overall condition. The polished stainless steel case remains attractive, with elegant slim lugs and a clean profile. It shows signs of use consistent with age, including light scratches and marks, most noticeably on the caseback. The watch retains its Longines-signed crown, a desirable original detail.

The silver dial is generally well preserved and presents very nicely. The applied Roman numerals, Longines signature and date frame remain clearly defined, while the textured concentric centre section gives the dial a particularly refined appearance. There is visible discolouration and ageing around the lower edge of the dial, mainly between approximately 5 and 8 o’clock, as shown in the photos.

The watch has received a new crystal, which is clean and scratch-free. It has been serviced, fitted with a new battery and is fully functional. The watch is sold with a 3-month functionality guarantee.
