Model History: The Seiko 7T32 series is one of the most respected quartz chronograph families produced by Seiko during the late 1980s and 1990s. Rather than being a simple two-pusher chronograph, the 7T32 movement combines a stopwatch, alarm and date display in a compact analogue layout, making it one of Seiko’s more feature-rich quartz calibres of the era. This Ref. 7T32-7C60 was produced in January 1996 and features the particularly attractive “panda” configuration of the line: a bright white dial contrasted by three grey sunburst sub-dials and a black tachymeter scale. The layout is both highly legible and technically expressive, with the chronograph registers clearly separated from the timekeeping and alarm functions. The calibre 7T32 uses two crowns and three pushers to control its various functions. Alongside the central chronograph seconds hand, it features a 30-minute counter, a 1/5-second chronograph register, a small running-seconds display and an independently settable alarm.
