Description A Chinese blue and white porcelain double-gourd vase, 19th century, decorated in rich cobalt-blue tones with reserved white prunus blossom branches against a deep blue ground. The vase is of elegant double-gourd form, with a rounded lower body rising to a smaller upper bulb and slender neck. The prunus blossom decoration is classic and highly decorative, creating a strong contrast against the deep blue background. The base bears a Kangxi four-character mark in underglaze blue. A very attractive 19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, displaying beautifully. Size: Height 25 cm Condition report Excellent antique condition overall. There are some glaze bubble bursts to the lower part of the body, consistent with firing and manufacture. There are also two very thin nicks to the unglazed foot rim. No obvious cracks or restoration noted from visual inspection. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition report.
