Antique Louis Philippe style chest of drawers, dating from the late 19th century. Crafted from warm, rich walnut wood with a beautifully figured grain on the drawer fronts. The piece is supported by elegant, tapered legs and crowned with a solid, natural green marble slab top with classic light veining. Features a typical four-drawer front setup. The top drawer is thinner and forms part of the characteristic slightly projecting upper band ("cappuccino" design). The drawers cannot be locked, but keys are included, only for the opening. It is a very refined and of excellent construction that gives the piece of furniture a noble and affected appearance. Very good overall condition consistent with age and use; minor surface wear with splendid patina. The marble top is super heavy. Presented of moth holes,(seen on photos), preferred to be treated.
