intage Yixing Zisha Teapot with Pine, Bamboo and Plum Decoration A finely crafted vintage Yixing zisha teapot made from quality reddish clay. The rounded body is elegantly decorated with applied relief motifs of bamboo leaves, pine branches and plum blossoms, representing the traditional Chinese “Three Friends of Winter” (Pine, Bamboo and Plum). Both the underside of the lid and the base of the teapot bear impressed maker’s seals. The teapot has a pleasing spherical form with a sculpted pine-stump finial and exhibits careful workmanship throughout. Condition: The body of the teapot is in good condition with no visible cracks or repairs. The finial on the lid has a small loss/chip (please refer to the photographs), but this does not affect the functionality or display quality of the teapot.
