罕见的韩国黑铁釉石质瓶花瓶——高丽 / 早期朝鲜 - 石器 - 韩国 - 朝鲜王朝早期,14–16世纪
An exceptional and highly collectible Korean Kuro-Gorai (Heukja) stoneware bottle vase, dating from the late Goryeo period to the early Joseon Dynasty (14th–16th century). This specimen features an elegant, robust baluster-shaped body tapering into a narrow neck, crowned by a distinctively stepped, flange-flared rim.
Vessels of this specific Kuro-Gorai glaze type are highly valued for their minimalist, modern aesthetic and represent an important, understated tradition in historical Korean ceramics alongside better-known celadon wares.
It is coated in a rich, dark iron-black glaze that stops short of the bottom, a deliberate technique used in regional kilns to prevent the vessel from fusing to the kiln floor during firing.
Hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, featuring visible throwing rings inside the neck and a raw, flat wire-cut base.
Excellent antique condition. No cracks or major structural repairs. The piece displays a genuine historic patina, including minor glaze flakes, surface scuffs, and expected firing anomalies (craters and pinholes) that enhance its rusticaesthetic a ppeal.
This striking piece bridges the gap between historical artifact and modern rustic interior design, making it an excellent addition for collectors of Asian art or enthusiasts of minimalist home decor.
