The obverse depicts the traditional standing armoured knight holding an upright sword beside the crowned provincial coat of arms of Zeeland, symbolizing the province’s sovereignty and military readiness. The reverse displays the crowned shield surrounded by the coats of arms of the six cities of Zeeland, together with the denomination 10 Stuivers / 60 Schellingen, an iconic design unique to this impressive provincial issue.
