- functional lens, in excellent condition, can be used on both sides, for right-handed and left-handed persons.

• This elegant silver-plated metal Hermès magnifying glass is a refined example of mid-20th-century French luxury design.
• The piece is stamped Hermès Paris, with slightly double-struck lettering, a feature commonly encountered on hand-stamped luxury objects and regarded as evidence of artisanal production rather than a flaw.
- It also bears the “RD” maker’s mark, identifying Ravinet d’Enfert, the renowned Parisian silversmith responsible for producing silver and silver-plated accessories for Hermès throughout the 20th century.
- The magnifying lens is set within a case, intentionally designed with split screw and frame, to allow the glass to be easily removed and replaced, combining functional practicality with discreet technical sophistication.
