Elegant pair of large wrought iron wall sconces, crafted in a remarkable Neo-Gothic / Neo-Medieval style, dating from the 1960s-1970s.
These imposing sconces come from the dismantling of a small country manor, where they contributed to a warm and authentic atmosphere. Their forged iron construction showcases artisanal craftsmanship, with beautiful volutes, vegetal motifs and finely cut bobèches.
Their substantial size and balanced silhouette make them true decorative elements, whether in a characterful residence, a chalet, a country house, or a restaurant.
Electrical installation is present, but it is recommended to bring it up to current standards before any use.
The bulbs visible in the photographs are not supplied. However, the complete set of candle holders (sockets) is present on both sconces.
The sconces are offered in their original condition, with a beautiful patina, normal signs of wear and a few spots of grime related to time, which can be cleaned according to the buyer’s wishes.
