This example is especially appealing for its elegant openwork construction. The upper part forms a hollow pyramidal structure, rising from the ring in a light but strongly architectural composition. The three-dimensional design gives the object a striking presence while keeping the form visually open and balanced. The ring is built around triangular openings and slender structural elements, ending in small rounded points and a domed top. The result is both geometric and sculptural, with a clear sense of rhythm and verticality. The surface shows a beautiful old usage patina, with darker areas in the recesses and softer rubbed highlights on the raised parts. This contrast emphasizes the relief and gives the ring a strong tactile quality.
