Description: This 150-year-old Tiffany sterling silver teapot features a compressed, bulbous body raised on a low foot, a curved spout, and a domed, hinged cover with fluted finial. The high-set handle is faceted with insulated ivory grips, and the shoulder is decorated with a chased foliate border. The body bears a period-engraved monogram for the original owners. Condition: very fine, with a rich sterling patina. The piece stands firm on a table or tray. There is mild wear to the monogram and decorative border, as shown in photos. The handle is in perfect, secure condition, and the cover closes flush. No dents, scratches, or repairs. Fully hallmarked for Tiffany & Co., sterling standard.
