Description:
This is a beautifully crafted Japanese porcelain vase created by Seiko Kitade (北出星光), a renowned Kutani ware artist. The piece is decorated in the traditional "aka-e Kinsai " (赤絵金彩) overglaze technique, combining vivid red enamel with intricate gold detailing. The central motif features raised peony blossoms in the "zuika" (auspicious flower) style, symbolizing wealth and honor in Japanese culture. The body is further adorned with diamond-shaped and floral geometric patterns, all delicately hand-painted with a rich color palette including turquoise, cobalt blue, and red. The narrow neck is highlighted by a gold rim and decorated with a harlequin diamond pattern. The vase is signed on the base and comes in its original signed wooden tomobako (storage box), certifying its authenticity and artistic provenance.
