This vintage Zippo lighter features a solid brass finish with a commemorative engraved message dated September 1, 1986.

The front is engraved with a letter from Michael A. Schuler, President of Zippo Manufacturing Company, expressing appreciation to Zippo enthusiasts and outlining the company's commitment to quality, integrity, and service. His engraved signature appears at the bottom of the message.

The brass surface shows scratches, discoloration, oxidation, darkened spots, and a well-developed natural patina from years of use. These signs of age enhance its authentic vintage character and give the lighter a distinctive appearance.
