A large, and gorgeous bronze vase 花瓶 patinated with vibrant red swirling murashidô 村紫銅 markings displaying a deep, lustrous surface. The vase has a graceful ovoid body rising to a smaller upright mouth. The base is marked ‘Terufumi’ 照文. Complete with a fitted wooden tomobako 共箱 (storage box), bearing a signature of a different artist. Period: Japan – 20th century Dimensions: Height 32.5 cm, Diameter 18.5 cm.
