Serviced vintage Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7191 automatic watch from October 1972 with silver sunburst dial, original Seiko LM bracelet and new crystal.

The Seiko Lord Matic, commonly known as “LM”, was one of Seiko’s refined automatic watch lines of the late 1960s and 1970s. Positioned above many standard Seiko automatic models, the Lord Matic range offered slimmer case designs, better movement specifications, and more elegant finishing, making it a strong everyday dress watch within Seiko’s domestic-market catalogue.

The 5606-7191 is a particularly wearable Lord Matic reference, with a well-proportioned stainless steel case, a clean silver sunburst dial, and a balanced day-date layout at 3 o’clock. The original Seiko LM bracelet completes the watch very nicely and gives it a period-correct, integrated vintage look.

Condition:
The watch is in excellent overall vintage condition. The stainless steel case remains sharp and attractive, with a well-preserved combination of polished and brushed surfaces. Only light signs of wear are visible, consistent with age and careful use. The caseback engravings are still clearly legible.
The silver sunburst dial is very well preserved, with a clean and elegant appearance. The applied indices, hands, Seiko logo and Lord Matic text remain crisp and attractive. The day-date window is clean and legible, and the bilingual English/Kanji day wheel adds extra collector appeal. The newly fitted crystal is clear and scratch-free.
The watch is fitted with its original Seiko LM stainless steel bracelet, which is in good vintage condition with normal surface marks. The Seiko 5606 automatic movement has been serviced and all functions operate correctly. The watch is sold without box and papers. As with most vintage watches, water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
