A pendant lamp designed by Svend Middelboe and K. Kewo for Nordisk Solar Denmark in the 1970s. The model is called Minisol/MiniSun and forms part of the classic Danish design tradition in lighting. It is made from ABS plastic and retains its original beautiful sun-yellow colour. It is 19 cm high and 23 cm in diameter. It does not have any melt damage, as is usually the case, but it does show signs of wear and has a small fatigue crack; see the last photos. It’s still a lovely lamp; you won’t notice the minor imperfections when it’s hanging as normal. It hasn’t been bleached by the sun either and has retained its most of it original yellow colour. Sold without a bulb (uses a standard E26 or E27 bulb). Packed securely and sent with insurance.
