It carries a fixed Yashinon-DX 45mm f/1.7 lens and uses a CdS meter driving an electronically controlled stepless shutter: the photographer sets the aperture and the camera selects the shutter speed automatically (from roughly 30 seconds to 1/500). The T denotes the black-paint body, distinguishing it from the chrome S models such as the GS. It originally used a 5.6V mercury battery (PX32), which today requires a modern replacement or adapter.
