The "New York bike map ouch" refers to the unique street art by Denis OUCH, who hand-pulls silkscreens and spray paints portraits and icons directly onto authentic, vintage New York City bicycle maps. One-of-a-kind pieces: Each artwork uses archived, out-of-circulation NYC bike map paper as a textured, historical base. Mixed media style: Combines silkscreen chaos, spray paint, acrylics, and official transit markings. Denis OUCH is a Brooklyn-based contemporary artist whose practice moves between street art, pop, and abstraction. Working with stencils, silkscreen, spray paint, acrylic, collage, canvas, public walls, and reclaimed New York City maps, he transforms familiar words and cultural icons into bold visual statements about power, desire, consumerism, violence, freedom, belief, and empathy. Immersed in the city's street culture, monumental scale, visual density, and relentless energy, he ultimately committed himself to art as a full-time practice.
