The Golden Standing Angel is a unique handcrafted glass sculpture by Polish artist Maciej Habrat, whose artistic practice has been dedicated to glass for more than twenty years.

Created using the fusing technique, the artwork combines opal glass with genuine 24-carat gold, permanently fused within the glass structure. The result is a refined interplay of transparency, texture, and light, enhanced by subtle golden accents that change character depending on the viewing angle and surrounding illumination.

The sculpture presents a contemporary interpretation of the winged figure, exploring themes of movement, balance, and the relationship between the human experience and the space beyond everyday reality. Its dynamic form and elegant proportions give the work a strong visual presence while maintaining a sense of lightness and harmony.
