Slava, was one of the best-known Soviet watch brands and was produced by the historic Second Moscow Watch Factory, founded in 1924.
Powering the watch is an automatic movement marked S2416 on the rotor. It belongs to the Slava 2414 movement family, known for its unusual twin-mainspring-barrel construction. Closely related Slava automatic calibres use 27 jewels, operate at 18,000 vibrations per hour and feature central seconds together with calendar functions.

Its unusual twin-barrel design was discontinued without a modern successor, making it especially interesting to collectors.
