History
The Omega Seamaster line, introduced in 1948, was originally conceived as a robust timepiece for active individuals, drawing upon the brand's experience producing dependable watches for the British military during the Second World War. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Seamaster family had expanded to include the distinctive C-shape case designs, reflecting the evolving architectural aesthetics of the era. The Caliber 565 is highly regarded by vintage enthusiasts for its reliable construction and precise automatic winding, making models from this period highly enjoyable to wear today.
