Presenting the Seiko Goldfeather, an iconic ultra-thin wristwatch from the 1960s, proudly made in Japan.
Developed with the goal of creating a watch "as light as a feather," this model represents Seiko’s innovative spirit and technological achievement during the golden age of watchmaking.

Traditional center-second movements are structurally difficult to make thin, as the gear wheels are layered concentrically. To overcome this, Seiko engineered a completely new movement with offset gears, allowing for an ultra-slim movement measuring only 2.95mm thick. Including the case and crystal, the total thickness is a mere 7.4mm, providing a superbly lightweight and comfortable fit under a shirt cuff.

This hand-wound movement features 25 jewels for smooth and precise operation. The case is gold-filled (14K), offering greater durability and a richer appearance than simple gold plating. The snap-back case back further enhances its sleek form.

The dial features a sunburst silver finish, with faint record-style grooves along the outer edge. Sculpted bar indices and elegant dauphine hands complement the sophisticated mid-century design. The dial printing is delicate and well-preserved.

The strap is a brand-new Japanese-made leather band with a deployant clasp, ensuring both comfort and ease of use.

【Condition】

Tested on a flat surface for 12 hours and confirmed to be running accurately without major delay.
Time adjustment functions as expected.
The crystal has a noticeable scratch near the 9 o’clock position and several other fine lines, but overall visibility is maintained.
The case, lugs, and case back show signs of wear, small dents, and some plating loss.
The dial and hands show minor stains and signs of age, but the bar indices remain in good condition.

【Notes】

This watch is not water-resistant. Please avoid wearing it in the rain or on hot, humid days.
To wind the mainspring, turn the crown slowly and gently in the upward direction. Over-winding may damage the spring.
To pull out the crown, insert your fingernail between the case and the crown and gently lever it outward.
The second hand does not stop when setting the time.
Always remove the watch from your wrist before making adjustments, and operate it with care.
