Elegant late 19th-century cabinet in the Chinese Export / Chinoiserie style, featuring an original shaped white marble top.

The cabinet is richly decorated with hand-painted Oriental scenes depicting Chinese figures, bamboo, floral motifs, fans and a large pheasant, with matching decoration extending to the side panels and corner pilasters. The interior offers generous storage with two adjustable shelves.

Constructed in solid wood with traditional panelled back and quality craftsmanship, this decorative cabinet reflects the strong influence of Chinese export furniture produced for the European market during the late 19th century.

Good antique condition with age-related wear. The painted decoration shows expected rubbing and minor losses. The marble top presents light signs of use. Structurally sound. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.

Shipping

The cabinet will be carefully packed and protected for transport. Due to its weight and the presence of the marble top, the marble slab will be removed, individually wrapped, and packed separately inside the same shipment to ensure safe delivery. The cabinet will be shipped fully insured with tracking, or collection in person is also welcome.
