洛雷斯坦 黄铜色 鲁尔斯坦青铜铃，饰有牛头浮雕 - 10 cm

来自卢里斯坦早铁时代文化的罕见草图铸铜铃，特点是镂空的蛋形铃体。 cage-like construction stands on a four-legged base and surmounted by a sturdy loop handle. Attached at the four cardinal points are stylized bull protomes with prominently curved horns, a characteristic motif of Luristan bronzes symbolizing strength, fertility, and protection.

The original bronze clapper remains intact inside the bell and still produces a soft sound when gently moved. The openwork construction not only gives the object an exceptional sculptural appearance but also enhances its acoustic qualities. Bells of this type were most likely attached to horse harnesses or chariots, or used as ceremonial and ritual objects. They rank among the finest achievements of Early Iron Age metalworking in western Iran.

The surface displays an attractive dark green to brown archaeological patina with authentic mineral encrustation and corrosion consistent with great age, further emphasizing the object's archaeological character.

Condition:
Very good condition for its age. The original bronze clapper is complete and remains freely movable. Attractive naturally developed archaeological patina with minor corrosion and expected age-related wear.

Provenance:
Formerly in the Madeleine & Erich Dammann Collection, Germany. Acquired during the owners' extensive travels between 1950 and 1970. The collection has been documented in Germany since 1970 and remained in continuous family ownership thereafter. As was customary for private purchases made in local markets during the 1950s–1970s, purchase receipts or invoices were generally neither issued nor requested. The provenance is therefore documented through the family's continuous ownership, historical photographs, and supporting biographical records.
