Set of 3 Vintage English farmhouse Stoneware/Ceramic Lidded Casserole Dishes – Brown & Cream

Charming set of three vintage lidded ceramic casserole/serving dishes in warm shades of cream, caramel and dark brown.
The pieces have a wonderful rustic, country-style appearance with glossy glazed surfaces and substantial ceramic construction.

Each dish has its own slightly different design, while together they form a very decorative and harmonious set.
One piece is clearly marked “Granville – T.G. Green Ltd – Church Gresley – Made in England” on the base.
Another piece bears an impressed maker's mark no 5 while the third appears to be unmarked.
T.G. Green was a well-known English pottery manufacturer based in Church Gresley, Derbyshire.
The dishes are suitable both as functional oven-to-table ware and as decorative vintage farmhouse kitchenware

The warm brown and cream colour palette gives the set a particularly attractive rustic English country kitchen / farmhouse character.
