卖家的描述
Born out of Ball’s historic railroad roots, the Engineer Hydrocarbon line represents the pinnacle of extreme tool-watch engineering. Reference DG1016A is iconic for its smaller tritium tube layout on the dial. This early setup results in a classic dial symmetry without sacrificing any of the self-powered illumination Ball is known for.
Back in the 2000s, this was probably one of the most rugged watches money could buy. It features a patented crown protection system, 300 meters of water resistance, 12,000 A/m of anti-magnetic resistance, and could survive up to 7,500 Gs. It also used special lubricants that allowed it to function in temperatures of up to -40ºC (-40ºF).
Condition: Honest pre-owned condition with l minor surface marks across the case and steel bracelet. The bezel lume has aged to a warm patina, giving it great character. As expected for a first-generation piece of this age, the original tritium tubes still glow briefly under dark conditions. It runs exceptionally strong at an accurate +4 seconds per day with a high 265º amplitude.
Reference: DG1016A
Case Size: 40 x 50mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 14mm.
Movement: ETA 2893-2, automatic with 21 jewels, 28,800 bph, 42-hour power reserve, and a GMT complication. Service history is unknown, but it’s running at +4 s/d with an amplitude of 265º.
Bracelet: Original steel bracelet. Will fit a wrist of up to 6.8 inches (17.5 cm).
