The existing movement was replaced with a brand-new Seiko V701 quartz movement on 20 August 2024 including a new battery to ensure peace of mind for the user. The crown was uncorked to prevent battery drainage. The case width and height are approx. 30.4mm (w/o crown), and 36.5mm respectively. The lug width is 16mm and bracelet can accommodate wrists up to 19.5cm, thus this watch is suitable for men and the modern women. The expendable gold-plated SS bracelet is an authentic vintage that was chosen to amplify the watch's retro looks. It had undergone a good cleaning and buffing and is now in excellent condition. The entire watch was given a good cleaning and rub to remove age and scuff marks yet allow it to retain its vintage retro style. To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Seiko Alba components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket or modified parts. Even though the gaskets and seals are in place, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested due to its age. The pictures provided shows the watch in stunning condition (no dents and major scratches), and the movement within brand new. The only drawback is the lack of documentation and original box, so a simple aftermarket box / pouch will be provided instead.
