卖家的描述
This striking Japanese bronze vase was produced by Seiseido (正晴堂), associated with “Dōki no Takenaka” (銅器の竹中) in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, an important center of Japanese metal craftsmanship. The vase features a bold faceted body with a long, slender cylindrical neck, giving it a refined yet distinctly modern silhouette.
Its most impressive feature is the richly textured surface treatment. Deep black and dark brown tones are layered with vivid turquoise-blue areas and irregular golden highlights, creating an atmospheric, almost mineral-like effect. The changing patina is particularly expressive across the angular facets, where light reveals subtle variations in color and texture.
Combining traditional Takaoka bronze casting and patination techniques with a modern geometric form, this decorative vase is a fine example of postwar Japanese metalwork and displays beautifully as a standalone sculptural object.
