Model History

The Conquest collection was introduced in 1954 and was the first Longines watch family to receive its own registered collection name. Originally conceived as an elegant yet robust everyday watch, the Conquest line has continually combined the brand’s traditional styling with practical sporting performance.

Reference L3.657.4.86.6 belongs to the Conquest Ceramic series introduced in 2008 as part of the Longines Sport Collection. Its substantial stainless steel case, screw-down crown, protective crown guards and original 300-metre water-resistance rating give it a distinctly sporting character. These functional elements are contrasted by a white ceramic bezel and a naturally iridescent mother-of-pearl dial, creating one of the more unusual and elegant configurations within this generation of Conquest models.

Condition:

The watch is in very good pre-owned condition and presents particularly well. Its white mother-of-pearl dial is clean and beautifully iridescent, with the natural surface producing different tones and patterns depending on the light. The applied markers, Arabic numerals, hands and printed details are all well preserved.

The original sapphire crystal is clear and free from scratches. The white ceramic bezel remains in very attractive condition, retaining its smooth, glossy finish. The ceramic insert on the signed screw-down crown is also intact.
The stainless steel case and original bracelet show light scratches and small marks consistent with careful previous wear.

The Longines inner and outer boxes are included. Both show age- and storage-related wear. No papers are included.

The automatic movement has been freshly serviced, and all functions operate correctly. The watch is covered by a 3-month functionality guarantee.

Although the model was originally rated to 300 metres, its present water resistance has not been pressure tested and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
