Byzantine Empire, Lot of 6 coins The first Byzantine coins followed late Roman conventions: the obverse featured the emperor's head in foreshortening, and the reverse usually a Christian symbol such as a cross, a victory, or an angel. Shipments destined outside of Spain (both from the European Union and third countries) are subject to the processing of the corresponding export permits. Depending on the duration of these administrative procedures, some shipments could be affected by small delays, normally not exceeding 30 days. Ref: 5109
