British Silver-Plated Goblet Champagne / Wine Cooler – 1970s Large British silver-plated champagne or wine cooler dating from the 1970s, made in an elegant goblet-shaped design with a wide bowl and raised pedestal base. Its generous proportions make it suitable for chilling a standard 0.75 L champagne bottle as well as a 1.5 L magnum bottle. In the photos, a 1.5 L Moët & Chandon magnum bottle is placed next to and inside the cooler to demonstrate its size and proportions. Dimensions: Height: 36 cm (approx. 14.2") Diameter: 22 cm (approx. 8.7") An unidentified British hallmark is visible on the stem/base area and is shown in the close-up photo. Condition: The cooler is a vintage used piece and is in very well-preserved overall condition for its age. The polished exterior is in particularly good condition and is almost free from scratches. The interior shows clear signs of previous use, including surface wear, marks and discoloration. There is also some discoloration around the lower section where the bowl meets the stem, which may indicate that the cooler underwent a repair at some point in the past.
