EX MUSEUM 中国古代 西周 - 汉朝 绿松石色 令人惊叹的极为罕见珠子护符(生肖猪)+ 饰品绳
Astonishing ancient Chinese bead talisman made between the reign of Western Zhou and Han dynasty (approximately 1st millennium BC). Ornament has been carved from precious and an extremely rare turquoise gemstone. It depicts a pig - twelfth animal in the Chinese zodiac, symbol of wealth, fertility, and prosperity, representing a successful household and holding a central place in agriculture and ritual for over 8,000 years. Animal has magnificently reproduced anatomical features, as well as a perfectly shaped body with holes for suspension. It has undergone a professional clearing process to highlight a beautiful blue-green color of the surface without removing originally preserved signs of patina and earthen deposits before it was exhibited in museum*.
