The damage must be reported to your local post office within 7 days of delivery, and promptly to us and Catawiki support. 【Product details】 A collection of Japanese Buddhist altar bells from the Showa period, comprising 34 pieces in total: 10 brass orin bells, 10 brocade cushions, 4 stands and 10 strikers. Orin bells are traditionally used at Buddhist altars and during prayer. They are gently struck with a striker to produce a clear, resonant tone rather than rubbed around the rim like Himalayan singing bowls. Several bells bear different maker or workshop marks, including 瑞龍, 鳳印, 広 and 翆, as shown in the photographs. The set also includes colourful brocade cushions, one wooden stand, three plastic stands, four strikers with fabric-wrapped handles and six plain wooden strikers. There is age-related wear throughout. The bells show scratches, discolouration, corrosion and areas of verdigris. Some cushions have fading, staining and general wear. The stands show scratches, staining and losses to the surface finish, while the strikers also show wear from use.
