Parker Straight Grain Smooth Bent Pear - Estate (Smoked once)
A Premium, Top-Tier London Classic Featuring an Elegant Teardrop Profile, Flawless Linear Grain, and Iconic Gold Diamond Stem Logo
For collectors who appreciate the robust engineering and historic charm of classic British pipe-making, this Parker Straight Grain is a stellar find. Born out of the legendary London factories that shared space, tooling, and briar stock with Dunhill, the "Straight Grain" series represents Parker’s highest tier of smooth finishes—reserved exclusively for bowls with exceptional grain orientation and zero structural flaws.
The Architecture & Grain Integrity This model is cut to a gorgeous, voluptuous Bent Pear silhouette. It features a robust, thick-walled bowl that gently tapers toward the rim, swelling out into a heavy, insulating teardrop base before sweeping back into a powerful, authoritative shank. True to its series name, a beautiful canvas of tight, vertical straight grain tightly wraps the flanks of the bowl, perfectly balanced by a dense cluster of natural birds-eye across the heel. The pipe is finished with a comfortable vulcanite saddle stem adorned with the crisp, highly desirable inlaid gold "P" inside a diamond emblem.
Curation Notes:
Condition: Excellent Vintage Estate Condition, once smoked. Fully sanitized, deep-cleaned. The chamber walls are exceptionally thick and healthy. The vulcanite saddle stem is deep black with a bright factory luster and zero tooth chatter.
Nomenclature: Stamped with crisp British definition on the smooth shank panels: Left reads PARKER over STRAIGHT GRAIN. The right side features the proud country-of-origin stamp: MADE IN LONDON over ENGLAND. The stem carries a perfectly preserved gold-inlaid diamond logo.
