波兰. - 27 Banknotes - 1919/1920 (没有保留价)
A substantial series collection of early Second Republic Polish notes issued by the Polska Krajowa Kasa Pozyczkowa (Polish State Loan Bank), the first currency of reborn Poland after 1918:
22 x 1000 Marek Polskich, Warsaw 23 August 1919 (Pick 29 / Milczak 29), the large brown note with the portrait of Tadeusz Kosciuszko and the crowned eagle. The former owner collected this type BY SERIES and the lot contains a fine spread of all three series groups: I Serja (AF, B, BC, BH, BN, BO, C, D, K, L, M, P, U, V, W), II Serja (C, F, H) and III Serja (B, I, J), plus one example mounted face-up in the album. Grades run from Fine to Very Fine+; several are bright, crisp notes with only a centre fold and light handling, others show more circulation. No tears or repairs were noted.
5 x 5000 Marek Polskich, Warsaw 7 February 1920 (Pick 31 / Milczak 31), the large blue-grey note with the double portrait of Kosciuszko and Queen Jadwiga. II Serja B, C, D and E, plus one example mounted face-up. Very Good to Fine, circulated with folds, some soiling and soft corners.
All genuine, original notes from an old Belgian collection. Not legal tender (demonetised historical banknotes). Catalogue references: Pick 29 and 31 / Milczak 29 and 31.
The overview photo shows every note; the detail sheets show them enlarged so that the series designations and serial numbers can be read. See photos for a good impression - the photos form part of the description.
Shipped in sleeves and a rigid mailer with tracked bpost shipping.
