铸于铜镍合金的1 Piastre，面向法属印度支那联邦，属于带纹饰齿边（Reeded Edge）的边缘变体。正面描绘向右的法兰西共和国女神像，手持象征该地区农业与繁荣的稻穗，镌刻着“UNION FRANÇAISE”。背面中央有三穗稻米，旁边标有面值“1 PIASTRE”和铭文“FÉDÉRATION INDOCHINOISE”，整体被装饰边框包围。此件保持着原始光泽的半光泽，浮雕清晰，底域干净，表面极少瑕疵，完全符合MS64评级。发行于二战后时期，这枚硬币见证了法属印度支那在该地区发生深刻政治变动的一段时期，距法国殖民统治在该地区终结的进程开始尚不久。
