青瓷双耳花瓶,附原盒、艺术家传记及签名布料 - 瓷 - Nishimura Tokusen III - 日本 - Shōwa period (1926-1989)

★Please read the complete item description before placing your bid, especially the Shipping, Import Duties & Taxes, and Information for EU Buyers sections. Thank you for your understanding. ■Elegant celadon twin-handled vase created by Nishimura Tokusen III, a Kyoto ceramic artist associated with the tradition of Kyo-yaki (Kyoto ware). The vase is covered with a soft, pale celadon glaze that gives the surface a calm, jade-like appearance. Its slender body, gently flared mouth and two decorative handles create a refined and well-balanced silhouette. Subtle raised decoration on the body adds depth without disturbing the vase’s understated elegance. The artist’s seal is impressed on the base. The vase is accompanied by its original signed wooden box (tomobako), original paper box, signed protective cloth and an artist biography leaflet. The presence of these original materials makes this a particularly complete and desirable example for collectors of Japanese studio ceramics. It can be displayed as a decorative art object or used as a small flower vase for a single flower or a simple ikebana arrangement.
