This is a rare underglaze blue floral vase from the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1711-1799). The floral design is set against a blue and white porcelain background. The craftsmanship is exquisite, the painting delicate, the shape unique, and the workmanship meticulous. The perfect combination of the blue glaze and white porcelain makes it extremely valuable to collectors. The base is inscribed with six characters: “Made in the Qianlong Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty,” the characters being exceptionally fine.
