The work is titled “Bijin Waka Sannin” (美人若三人 / Three Young Beauties). The composition is known as a large ōban triptych, with each sheet measuring approximately 36–37 × 25 cm. A museum catalogue records the work as dating to around 1813 (Bunka 10). The present lot consists of one sheet from the three-sheet composition. The print depicts an elegantly dressed young woman with an elaborate hairstyle and richly decorated kimono. The refined treatment of the figure and costume is characteristic of Eizan's celebrated bijin-ga style. Condition The print is an antique Edo-period ukiyo-e woodblock print and shows substantial signs of age.
