The current owner, S.N.J. S., purchased the Ancient Roman Bronze Fibulae Collection (13) from E.R. in Doesburg, the Netherlands.

The previous owner, E.R. from Doesburg (the Netherlands), stated that the objects had been in his collection since the 1990's.

According to the previous owner, the fibulae had previously been part of a private collection in the Netherlands since the 1990's.

This collection comprises thirteen authentic Roman bronze fibulae and fibula fragments dating to the 1st–2nd century A.D. Although several examples are incomplete, they represent a varied group of Roman brooch types, illustrating the diversity of fastening systems and decorative forms employed throughout the Early Imperial period.
