“Europäische Währungs-Edition – Die Münzen Europas” collection issued by IMM Münz-Institut, presented in its original collector’s case with individual illustrated country folders.

The collection documents the historic transition from the national currencies of European countries to the Euro. Each country folder contains a selection of original circulation coins from the former national currency, accompanied by illustrated German-language information about the country, its monetary history and currency.

The set comprises 11 country editions, including Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Spain, with the remaining edition also included in the collection. Examples shown include Deutsche Mark, French Franc, Finnish Markka, Greek Drachma, Italian Lira, Austrian Schilling, Dutch Gulden, Portuguese Escudo, Spanish Peseta and Luxembourg Franc coins.

Also included is the original Besitz-Urkunde (certificate of ownership) from IMM Münz-Institut. This collection is edition no. 9,215 of a stated limited edition of 10,000 sets throughout Europe.

The coins remain housed in their dedicated presentation folders/capsules. The folders and contents generally present well. Please note that the outer collector’s case has significant damage/tearing along one side, clearly visible in the photographs. This has been taken into account in the description.
