Overview A vintage Seiko 5 with a light grey sunray dial lifted by gold-tone accents: applied gold bar indices with luminous dots, a twin-block faceted index at 12 o'clock, gold sword hands and a gold-framed day-date window at 3 o'clock with the day shown in English as pictured (Sunday in red). The dial is signed SEIKO 5 (shield emblem) / AUTOMATIC. Powered by the Seiko 7009 automatic movement in a stainless steel case on a silver-tone steel bracelet with a SEIKO-signed clasp. The main points to note: the crystal shows several hairline scratches, including a long scratch running across the centre-left area, visible from the front; there are brown rust-like deposits and dirt along the gap between the bezel and case and on the lower case edge, and orange rust/dirt residue in the notch of the case back rim. The case and bezel show numerous hairlines and small marks. The bracelet shows rub marks overall, with dark dirt accumulated between the links and rub marks on the clasp surface; a cleaning is recommended. The dial and hands are clean with no notable staining or fading, and the luminous material has aged to a cream colour. Please refer to the photos, which form part of the condition description.
