Elegant and substantial Swedish art glass vase, dating from approximately 1950–1970. The vase has a tall, slender form and is made from thick, heavy glass with a distinctive satin-frosted exterior and a contrasting glossy interior visible at the opening. Its most striking feature is the layered colour composition. Deep emerald green at the upper section transitions through a dark charcoal/black band into warm shades of amber, golden orange and reddish brown towards the base. The colours have considerable depth within the thick glass and create a strong Mid-Century Scandinavian appearance. The vase is not signed, and no definite attribution to a specific glassworks or designer has been established. It is therefore conservatively offered as Swedish art glass.
