The Minolta SRT 101 of 1966 was one of the great workhorse SLRs of its generation, famous for introducing CLC — Contrast Light Compensation — a twin-cell metering system that reads bright sky and darker foreground separately, years ahead of its time. Fully mechanical, built like a tank and produced in enormous numbers until 1975, it remains one of the most dependable classic SLRs to actually use. The MD Zoom Rokkor 35-70mm f/3.5 attached here is a later constant-aperture standard zoom with a strong reputation — the same optical design Leica adopted for its Vario-Elmar-R 35-70mm — making this a historically interesting pairing. Servicing This camera was serviced by us before listing: - Viewfinder cleaned internally - Light seals (foam) replaced Known Issues 1. The shutter-speed display inside the viewfinder does not move. Speeds set normally on the dial and exposures are correct — only the in-finder readout is affected. 2. There is paint loss on the body — please check the photos. 3.
