Pair of Antique Leather Cigar Cases – German & English – c. 1880–1920 A decorative lot of two antique leather cigar cases, dating from approximately 1880–1920. The lot consists of one German cigar case, marked “Fabrik Marke”, and one English cigar case, marked “English Make”. Both cases are made from thick, firm leather and have developed a beautiful natural brown patina over many decades. The leather remains strong and appropriately firm for protecting cigars, while still retaining enough flexibility for handling and use. The German case measures approximately 13 × 8 × 3 cm. Both pieces show genuine signs of age, including natural colour variation, surface wear and patina. These characteristics add to their authentic antique appearance. They have been carefully cleaned and treated, but not restored or altered. An attractive matching lot for collectors of antique smoking accessories, leatherwork and gentleman’s accessories from the late 19th and early 20th century.
