Japanese Silk Fabric Bolt (Tanmono) – Floral Komon Pattern, Tango Chirimen, 12m50cm This is an unused bolt of pure silk (正絹) fabric, featuring a delicate floral pattern woven into an indigo blue ground. Please note this is vintage dead stock (デッドストック) — unused old stock that has been kept in storage for a number of years rather than recently manufactured. There is no noticeable fading or odor. However, please note there appears to be a slight dye irregularity (possibly unevenness in the dyeing process) near the beginning of the pattern, as shown in the photos. The fabric has a light, airy sheerness characteristic of Tango chirimen crepe, giving it a cool and refreshing texture ideal for warm-season garments or accessories. The design shows fine branch-like floral motifs scattered across a textured dot-weave ground, creating subtle depth and shimmer depending on the angle of light.
