The cup and the lid are beautifully shaped with nicely finished brown edges (jia mangkou). The decoration set up in blue shows a continuous pattern in the Chinese taste. The decoration consists of a continuous landscape with water. These patterns are repeated on the lid. Rare interesting example! Provenance; From the private collection of a deceased collector from North Holland. Date: Mid. 19th Century. Size: Cup measures ca. 10,5 cm across. The set measures ca. 8 cm in height. Condition: Good, showcase ready. Cup: a superficial rim-chip with connected 4 cm hairline are neatly restored, and therefore barely visible. Lid: Perfect. Further no damage!
