卖家的描述
Unique opportunity for the banknote collector!
Sells a fantastic set of 5 historical Russian 500 rubles from 1912
(printed during the Russian Empire/Tsarist period).
All banknotes are in a completely unbroken sequence (consecutive serial number):>
089108 089109 089110 089111 089112
About the banknotes:These magnificent and physically very large banknotes (about 27 x 13 cm) are often called "Katenka" after Empress Catherine the Great whose portrait adorns the front.
They were issued by the Russian State Bank under the rule of Tsar Nicholas II and bear Shipov's signature.
Finding five in direct succession that have held together for over 110 years is very unusual
Condition:
Good collector condition (VF/XF). Steady paper with nice color. There is natural circulation wear, light handling folds and smaller corner folds, but no major injuries or tears.
See the pictures for your own careful assessment of the condition. What you see in the pic230åtures is exactly what you bid on.
