A beautiful wooden cha’dansu 茶箪笥 (tea cabinet) in two sections. Fully cleaned and waxed. The frame is crafted from precious keyaki 欅 (zelkova, Japanese oak), while the sliding door panels and drawer fronts are veneered with striking kurogaki 黒柿 (Japanese black persimmon), displaying a dramatic contrast of deep brown and black wood grain. The cabinet is configured with three pairs of sliding doors, including a large central pair fitted with glass, two hinged doors and five drawers of varying sizes. Behind the glass doors, the refined interior reveals a charming pair of small sliding doors lined with a drawing on paper. Next to this is an open display area with an elegant S-shaped shelf, followed by another drawer and display area. Several sliding doors are fitted with flower-shaped thumb grips, while the drawers are equipped with elegant mokkô-shaped bail handles.
